Arne Slot has provided fitness update on Conor Bradley after the defender hobbled off in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Liverpool secured a point at Villa Park thanks to a second-half strike from Trent Alexnader-Arnold.
After taking the lead early in the game, Liverpool’s sloppy defending allowed Villa to take a 2-1 lead.
But Alexander-Arnold restored parity, as Liverpool went eight points clear of Arsenal, having played a game more.
However, the point was overshadowed by a potential injury to Conor Bradley, who hobbled off the pitch late in the game
The Northern Ireland defender, who entered the fray after the half-hour mark as a substitute for Trent Alexander-Arnold, appeared to have hurt himself while trying to stop a cross late in the game at Villa Park.
He had to be replaced by Jarell Quansah in the 89th minute.
What Arne Slot said about Bradley injury
Speaking after the game, Slot revealed that he is yet to know much about Bradley’s injury but admitted concern at that the manner the injury occurred.
“Not that much, although it happened in the sprint,” he said.
“You never know but if a player goes out, it is never a good sign.”
